Are you a soon-to-be qualified teacher, Early Career Teacher, or qualified teacher looking for a rewarding new direction? Protocol Education is working with a number of specialist SEND schools across South London who are keen to meet passionate, committed and nurturing teachers for upcoming opportunities. These roles are ideal for Early Career Teachers who are looking to build confidence, develop strong classroom practice and make a genuine difference from the very start of their teaching career. We are also very happy to speak with experienced teachers who are interested in moving into specialist education. About the roles We support a wide range of specialist settings, including schools for pupils with: • Autism / ASC, • Severe Learning Difficulties, • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, • SEMH needs, • Complex medical needs, • Speech, language and communication needs Why consider teaching in a SEND school? You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in: • Differentiated and adaptive teaching, • Communication strategies, • Sensory-based learning, • Behaviour support and de-escalation, • Working closely with therapists, support staff and families We are looking for teachers who are: • Soon to be qualified, newly qualified or already qualified, • Interested in working in specialist SEND settings, • Patient, resilient and emotionally intelligent, • Creative in their approach to teaching and learning, • Confident working as part of a wider classroom team, • Access to a range of SEND teaching opportunities across South London, • Long-term, short-term and temp-to-perm roles, • Support from a specialist SEND consultant, • Guidance around which settings may suit your strengths and goals, • Opportunities to visit schools and build experience before committing to a role, • Competitive rates of pay All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
