Warehouse Manager - Heathrow\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking an organised, proactive, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Heathrow warehouse. You will be responsible for managing a team of 4-5 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate stock control, and a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential for this role, as you will lead by example and support operational tasks when required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage, motivate, and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.\nOversee daily warehouse operations including goods‑in, goods‑out, and internal stock movements.\nLoad and unload vehicles using a forklift (FLT licence required).\nEnsure accurate checking, recording, and storage of incoming deliveries.\nOversee picking, packing, and preparation of orders for dispatch.\nConduct regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records.\nMaintain a safe, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.\nManage warehouse documentation and support stock booking processes.\nLiaise with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.\nMonitor performance, provide training, and ensure high operational standards across the team.\nEnsure all warehouse equipment is operated safely and in line with company procedures.Skills & Experience Required\n\nPrevious experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.\nValid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).\nStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.\nAbility to lead, motivate, and develop a small team.\nConfident working independently and making operational decisions.\nBasic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.\nGood understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.Benefits\n\nStable, long-term opportunity.\nSupportive and friendly working environment.Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
