Title: Principal Structural Engineer Location: Derby About The Role • Lead structural engineering design and review from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction, • Champion technical quality, innovation and best-practice design standards across projects, • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, supporting professional growth and chartership, • Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as the lead technical contact, • Provide expert structural engineering advice across diverse sectors, • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, transportation, geotechnical and environmental specialists Essential: • Typically 8+ years consultancy experience in UK structural engineering, • Strong track record of leading complex building and infrastructure-related structural design, • Proficient with structural analysis and design tools (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD, Robot / similar) and CAD/BIM packages (AutoCAD, Revit), • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Proven leadership, project management and client engagement experience, • Experience working on large-scale or mixed-use developments, • Experience within multidisciplinary consultancies They are an award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy with over 25?years experience delivering high-quality, technically robust engineering services across the UK.
