Principal Responsibility To provide Logistics and Trade Support to the Trading Team while gaining hands-on experience in customer support, supply chain coordination, and administrative processes within an agriculture-focused trading business. Key Tasks · Enter and check customer and supplier contracts on BlueBERI. · Manage the orders inbox and process movement instructions, coordinating with suppliers, hauliers, and customers. · Monitor and manage outstanding and part-fixings to ensure effective planning and execution of orders. · Collaborate with the trading team to manage supplier and customer contracts, release delivery orders (D/Os), and communicate contract balances. · Support finalising of contracts and accurate contract record-keeping. · Assist with stock management and tracking. · Help raise rental, storage, and brokerage invoices from suppliers and brokers. · Research and negotiate haulier rates for efficient movement planning. · Work with the accounts team to resolve invoice queries in a timely manner. · Learn how to handle customer and supplier enquiries and offer first-line support. General Tasks · Provide telephone support to assist with logistics and order queries. · Update customer and supplier information within BlueBERI. · Support wider TML business for holiday and absence cover. · Assist with general ad hoc tasks and team support as required. Learning & Development Goals Develop a foundational understanding of supply chain and logistics processes within the agricultural sector. Gain hands-on experience using logistics and trading systems (e.g. BlueBERI). Shadow experienced staff across departments to understand key workflows and customer service practices. Build knowledge in managing contracts, invoicing, and order fulfilment. Work toward progression into a permanent role such as Logistics Coordinator or Customer Support Executive within 12–24 months. Technical & Soft Skills Development You will receive guidance and support to develop skills including: · Technical: · BlueBERI logistics platform · Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) · Order and delivery processing systems · CRM or ERP tools (if applicable) Soft Skills: · Professional communication and teamwork · Time management and prioritisation · Accuracy and attention to detail · Problem-solving and adaptability · Customer service etiquette and escalation handling Company Requirements · High level of focus and attention to detail during working hours, especially during busy periods or when covering absences. · Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet customer and stakeholder needs. · Willingness to occasionally support outside core hours if urgent work arises (rare but possible). · A positive attitude toward learning, teamwork, and process improvement. Eligibility / Candidate Profile · Ideally suited for recent school leavers, college graduates, or individuals looking to start a career in logistics or customer support. · A qualification in business, logistics, or a related field is beneficial but not essential. · No prior experience required; full training will be provided. · Interest in agriculture, trading, or logistics is a plus.
