We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 6-8 sessions per week to join our supportive and efficient team of doctors, nurses and administration staff. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.Duties will include both surgery sessions and on call sessions. We have allocated care homes which one of our partners visits each week. Most home visits are done by the home visiting service.Pay per session depends on experience and is negotiable.Main duties of the jobTo work as anautonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services tothe practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical carewhilst complying with the PMS Contract.Furthermore,the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.About usWe are a high achieving practice with a population of approximately 7500 patientsOur practice team comprises of 3 GP partners, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Nurse associate, 1 Healthcare assistant and an administration team.Job responsibilitiesThedelivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationUndertakeboth planned and urgent primary care as requiredSessions will inlcude a mixture of both telephone and face to face appointmentsTheprovision of services commensurate with the PMS contractGenericprescribing adhering to local and national guidanceEffectivemanagement of long-term conditionsProcessingof administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptionrequests and other associated administrative tasksMaintainaccurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy andguidanceWorkcollaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadAdhereto best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processContributeto the successful implementation of continuous improvement and qualityinitiatives within the practiceAttendand contribute effectively to practice meetings as requiredContributeeffective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinicalgovernance and trainingEnsurecompliance with the appraisal processPrepareand complete the revalidation processSupportthe partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, makingrecommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditureReviewand always adhere to practice protocols and policiesEncouragecollaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting aculture of continuous improvementPerson SpecificationQualificationsQualified GPMRCGPVocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGPGeneral Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)- or due to CCT by August 2024Experience of working in a primary care environmentExperience of continued professional developmentExperience of QOF and clinical auditDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
