MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY\n\nYour responsibilities will cover:\n\nWork Group Lead (WGL) Support\n\nProvide proactive diary management for Work Group Leads, including scheduling Work Group sessions, meetings and key deadlines.\n\nCoordinate and confirm Work Group dates and ensure all relevant information is communicated clearly.\n\nSupport the induction of new Work Group Leads, ensuring they understand Maths Hub and NCETM processes and requirements.\n\nAct as a consistent point of contact for Work Group Leads, ensuring they have the information, resources and documentation needed to run their groups effectively.\n\nCreate, file and archive documents in line with agreed processes.\n\nVenues, Events and Bookings\n\nBook venues, rooms, resources and catering for Work Groups, projects and events.\n\nCommunicate agendas, timings, reminders, travel and venue details clearly and professionally.\n\nOccasionally attend local Maths Hub events to provide administrative support. This may involve planned travel to venues such as Lambeth, Croydon or Bromley.\n\nAdvertising, Communications and Recruitment\n\nAdminister and update the Maths Hub website.\n\nPromote opportunities to schools using digital communication channels including newsletters and social media.\n\nCreate marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters and mailshots.\n\nUse the website and mailing lists to support recruitment for Work Groups, projects and events.\n\nManage mailing lists and ensure appropriate, timely content is shared.\n\nAdministration, Data and Deadlines\n\nManage registration, attendance and evaluation processes, ensuring accurate data collection.\n\nProfessionally follow up attendance, evaluations and required forms using clear, persuasive email communication.\n\nSupport the team in meeting key deadlines, including RDS and other reporting requirements.\n\nMaintain Maths Hub calendars and administrative records.\n\nCapture session highlights to support promotional activity.\n\nFor a full list of responsibilities please download the candidate pack.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\nWe would like to hear from you if you have:\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in drafting clear and professional emails\n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload\n\nExperience of supporting a team to meet deadlines\n\nIT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications\n\nA professional manner and high level of presentation\n\nAbility to work independently, show initiative and adapt to changing priorities\n\nFor a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.\n\nAPPLYING FOR THIS POSITION\n\nIf you would like to discuss the opportunity further, or if you have any questions, please contact us via email to arrange a conversation.\n\nBefore applying please ensure you download the job pack from our careers website, this will help with completing your application.
