Residential accommodation, commercial kitchens, academic buildings, landscaped grounds, and event venues. A mixed-use environment supporting staff, residents, visitors, and the wider community. This combination provides a level of variety and technical interest that is rarely found in standard commercial or domestic plumbing roles. Key Responsibilities Planned Maintenance and Compliance Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of plumbing, heating, and water systems across a wide range of buildings. Conduct water hygiene checks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal safety standards. Maintain and service pipework, pumps, valves, calorifiers, hot water systems, sanitary fittings, and drainage assets. Reactive Repairs and Fault Resolution Respond promptly to plumbing faults, leaks, breakdowns, and emergencies across the estate. Use strong diagnostic skills to identify issues and provide effective, long-lasting repairs. Minimise disruption to building users by working efficiently, safely, and professionally. Installations, Upgrades and Project Work Support refurbishment works, minor installations and system upgrades across the site. Contribute to larger estate improvement projects where plumbing expertise is required. Work alongside colleagues in other trades, ensuring coordinated, high-quality delivery. Professionalism and Reporting Maintain accurate records of work, materials used, and follow-up requirements. Promote a high standard of customer service when interacting with staff, residents, and visitors. Uphold all safety, compliance, and safeguarding expectations as part of a reputable estates team. What You Will Bring NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent). Proven experience in plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installation. Strong technical problem-solving ability.
