  • 👟 Flexible Shoe Cleaning Assistant – £2 Per Pair | Side Hustle
👟 Flexible Shoe Cleaning Assistant – £2 Per Pair | Side Hustle
    15 days ago
    £10–£12 hourly
    Part-time
    Wallington

👟 Flexible Shoe Cleaning Assistant – £2 Per Pair | Side Hustle Hi! I’m Hana, I’m 21 and have been running my pre-owned shoe business for around 6 years alongside university. As I’m returning to university soon and go through a lot of shoes, I’m looking for a reliable local person to help clean batches of shoes when needed. 🧽 The Job You’ll collect batches of shoes from my home, take them home to clean, and return them once finished. I provide the cleaning supplies and will show you exactly how I clean the shoes and the standard I expect, so no previous experience is needed. The shoes need to be properly and thoroughly cleaned — not just given a quick wipe. Some pairs will be relatively easy, while others will be dirtier and require more scrubbing, patience and time. I understand that some stains, discolouration and signs of wear simply cannot be removed. I don’t expect perfection or for excessive time to be spent trying to remove permanent marks. However, I do expect a genuine effort and good-quality clean on every pair, while taking care not to damage different materials. If a pair has clearly not been cleaned to the standard I’ve demonstrated, I will ask for it to be cleaned again before payment for that pair. 💷 Pay & Workload £2 per pair – fixed rate. For example: 10 pairs = £20 20 pairs = £40 30 pairs = £60 50 pairs = £100 The amount of work will vary. One batch could be 10 pairs, another 30 or 50+, and some weeks I may not have any shoes that need cleaning. Please treat this as a flexible side hustle rather than guaranteed regular employment. I will contact you whenever I have a batch ready. Please do not rely on a certain number of pairs or regularly pressure me for the next batch — I will message you when I need your help. 🚗 Collection & Return You will need to collect the shoes from my home and return them once cleaned, so please consider the travelling involved before applying. Having access to a car would be ideal. Shoes must also be returned by the agreed time. I will count each batch before collection and when it is returned. ⭐ What I Expect • Reliable, trustworthy and good communication, • Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions, • Quality and care rather than rushing, • Cleaning products used sensibly without unnecessary waste, • Shoes collected and returned as agreed, • Every pair given a genuine, thorough clean Everyone will begin with a small paid trial batch so we can both see whether the arrangement works well. I’m hiring someone to save me time while I’m at university, so I’m looking for someone who can work independently and consistently without creating extra work for me. If you’re happy with the £2-per-pair rate, variable workload, travelling to collect/return the shoes, and the cleaning standard expected, I’d love to hear from you. 😊 Thank you!
