A warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing the receipt of goods, ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for, safely and securely stored, and efficiently dispatched to customers. They also manage warehouse staff, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely and effectively 1. Job Description - Advises purchasing department on type, quality and quantity of goods required and dates by which they must be available. - Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. - Prepares reports on expenditure and advises on materials and parts standardisation, future stores and stock control policies - Decides on storage conditions for particular items, allocates warehouse space and arranges for regular stock inspections to detect deterioration or damage - Liaising with transport companies, suppliers and clients. - Training, monitoring rotas for staff , supervising and appraising staff. - Keeping health and safety records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. - Investigating accidents and troubleshooting problems

Duties and Responsibilities - Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, partnerships and/or new products and services. - Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities. - Building relationships with other team members, new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs. - Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients. - Extensive production knowledge to support advice/guidance for customers based on their requirements - Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
