Quantity Surveyor Location: Bristol Sector: Specialist Contractor – Industrial Construction Salary: Competitive + Package The Opportunity A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist contractor delivering projects across the UK within the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. This role offers the chance to work within a growing commercial team, managing projects from pre-construction through to final account. Role Overview You will be responsible for: Managing subcontract packages ranging from £5k to £5m. Reviewing contracts and negotiating favourable commercial terms. Preparing and managing project budgets and cost controls. Producing monthly valuations and cost reports. Capturing variations and managing change control. Supporting operational teams with contractual administration. Visiting sites to value works and assess variations. Monitoring project performance through cost vs value analysis. Managing subcontractor relationships and agreements. Negotiating and agreeing final accounts. About You Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. Strong understanding of JCT and NEC4 contracts. Commercially aware with strong attention to detail. Confident working independently and managing workload. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Construction.
