    Experienced Barista / Café Team Member We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic team member to join our café team. The role includes preparing high-quality coffee, beverages, and simple cocktails while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced and welcoming environment. This is a self-service café, so team members should be comfortable communicating clearly with customers and helping maintain a clean, organised, and smoothly operating café environment. The café operates between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM with two shift schedules. Candidates must be flexible and available to work both morning and evening shifts. The position also includes basic food preparation and heating simple meals or snacks when required. Previous café or barista experience is preferred. Duties • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, cold drinks, and simple cocktails, • Take customer orders in a friendly and professional manner, • Handle cash and card payments accurately, • Assist with basic food preparation and heating snacks or light meals, • Clear, clean, and wipe tables regularly, • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times, • Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment, • Work efficiently during busy hours and support team members when needed Qualifications • Previous experience as a barista, café worker, or in hospitality preferred, • Basic knowledge or experience preparing simple cocktails is an advantage, • Friendly attitude and strong communication skills, • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, • Responsible, organised, and reliable, • Flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts, • Basic cash handling and customer service skills, • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards preferred We are looking for someone positive, hardworking, and team-oriented who enjoys creating a great customer experience.

Monitor food inventory levels, order ingredients, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards, and ensure that all staff follow proper hygiene practices. Collaborate with the Executive Chef in managing kitchen costs, including monitoring ingredient costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing kitchen operations to achieve financial targets.
