Residential Support Worker (Children’s Home) Ilford, East London Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking experienced and motivated Support Workers to join our Children’s Residential Home in Ilford. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a team of Support Workers, champion high‑quality care, and directly influence positive outcomes for children and young people. Salary: £14 - 15 per hour (paid monthly) Working Hours: Shift based role operating on a rolling rota (Mon - Sun) Day shifts: (8:00am - 8:30pm) Waking Night shifts: (8:00pm - 8:30am) Flexibility throughout the week is essential Essential: • Minimum 6+ months experience in a child centered role, • Ability to act as an advocate for young people, • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), • Confidence in leading a team during shifts and modelling best practice, • Ability to make informed, safe decisions in line with policies and risk assessment Desirable: • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), • Previous experience supervising staff or leading shifts, • High level of professional integrity, reliability, and accountability Your role: As a Support Worker you will play a key role in ensuring the home runs smoothly & safely.
