Part-Time Social Media Content Creator / Videographer - 1 Day per Week \n We are looking for a part-time content creator to help film, edit and post regular social media content for a growing UK-based business. \n This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent role if it works well for both sides. \n This is a practical, hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can come to our site around one day per week, capture interesting short-form video content, and turn it into engaging posts for Instagram, with some additional content for LinkedIn. \n The company has a lot going on day to day, including products, people, behind-the-scenes activity, customer projects and industry-specific content. We need someone who can spot what is worth filming, make it look good, and help us build a consistent social media presence. \n The role will include: \n\n • Coming to site roughly one day per week to film content\n, • Capturing short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories and posts\n, • Creating occasional LinkedIn content with a more professional tone\n, • Editing videos into polished, usable social media posts\n, • Writing simple captions and suggesting post ideas\n, • Helping plan a basic content schedule\n, • Uploading or preparing content for approval/posting\n, • Identifying opportunities for behind-the-scenes, product, team and customer-focused content\n\n We are looking for someone who: \n\n • Has experience creating social media video content, especially for Instagram\n, • Can film and edit short-form content to a good standard\n, • Understands what makes content engaging without it feeling too forced or corporate\n, • Is comfortable taking initiative and suggesting ideas\n, • Can work independently once they understand the business\n, • Is reliable, organised and able to turn content around quickly\n, • Ideally has some experience with B2B, ecommerce, products, equipment, trade, industrial, or marketplace-style businesses\n\n This would suit a freelance content creator, videographer, social media manager, or someone early in their career with a strong portfolio of practical content work. \n Contract structure: \n Initial 6-month contract, approximately one day per week on site. There may be scope for the role to become permanent after the initial contract period. \n Location: \n UK-based. The role will require regular on-site attendance, so applicants should be within reasonable travelling distance.
