Key Responsibilities
Operations & Management

  • Open, operate, and close the food truck/trailer daily.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee food prep, production, and service according to company standards.
  • Drive, transport, and set up the food trailer at locations/events.
    Food Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with all local health department codes.
  • Ensure all staff follow sanitation and prep protocols.
  • Keep detailed daily logs for production, waste, and cleaning.
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required certifications, including:
    -  - Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
    -  - Food Handler Certification for self and staff
    -  - Mobile Food Vendor/Health Department Permits (if required by NJ/NYC municipality)
    Production Oversight
  • Supervise produce prep, juicing, bottling, and labeling.
  • Oversee smoothie & deli station prep using SOP checklists.
  • Ensure accuracy of labeling, portioning, and inventory tracking.
    Customer Service & Sales
  • Lead staff in providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage POS system, cash handling, and daily financial reports.
  • Support sales growth through upselling, promotions, and event engagement.
    End-of-Day Duties
  • Complete cleaning checklists for equipment, tools, and trailer.
  • Submit inventory reports, waste logs, and closing cash reports.
  • Secure trailer and equipment for next service day.
    Qualifications
  • Required: Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) — or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Minimum 2 years of food service or management experience (food truck/catering preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 30–40 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    Compensation & Benefits
  • $20–$28/hour (depending on experience) OR base + % of sales.
  • Potential for profit-sharing/bonuses with strong performance.
  • Company covers certification costs (if obtained after hire).
