Job Description: Lead Cook
Location: Montclair, NJ
Position: Full-Time
Compensation: $15–$19 per hour + bonus opportunities for select individuals

We're looking for a talented Lead Cook to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cooking, brimming with fresh ideas, and ready to take on leadership responsibilities in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking:
Lead the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of menu items with consistent quality.
Ensure all dishes meet high taste and presentation standards.
Creativity & Innovation:
Develop and propose new menu items or enhancements to existing recipes.
Collaborate with management on seasonal specials and promotions.
Leadership:
Oversee kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintain standard for techniques, safety, and food quality standards.
Quality & Inventory Control:
Maintain inventory levels, manage orders, and minimize waste.
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health regulations.
Customer Focus:
Uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional food and customer service - charisma and friendliness.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment; leadership experience is a plus.
Strong culinary skills with the ability to produce high-quality dishes consistently.
Creativity and a knack for crafting flavorful, appealing dishes.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
