Line Cook – Job Description Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable, organized, and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is someone who works well under pressure, follows recipes consistently, and maintains high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and timing. Responsibilities: • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards, • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, • Assist in prepping ingredients (vegetables, proteins, sauces, etc.), • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team, • Restock stations during and after service, • Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control, • Help with opening and closing kitchen procedures, • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Good time management and multitasking abilities, • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, • Must follow health and safety guidelines, • Supportive, positive work environment, • Opportunities to learn new skills and grow in the kitchen
