Gallery Assistant (Full-Time) Location: Lower Manhattan Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday Compensation: $15/hour Golden Arts LLC, a contemporary art gallery in downtown Manhattan, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Gallery Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities • Calendar Management: Maintain and organize the gallery’s calendar, including scheduling exhibitions, artist meetings, and events. • Artist and Event Support: Assist with planning and executing gallery openings, exhibitions, and performances. Liaise with featured artists to support their projects and installations. • Community Engagement: Act as the gallery’s on-site representative, helping to foster meaningful connections with visitors, collectors, and art community members. • Administrative Support: Manage email correspondence, invitations, and other operational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. • Curatorial Input: Contribute ideas and feedback during discussions of upcoming exhibitions and artist collaborations.
