Employment Opportunity! Supermoon Art Space is a Community Art Center and Early Childhood Program in Ridgewood, Queens. We offer loving care for our 2-3 year-olds in our Group Day Car program, we also provide creative workshops for 4-5-year-olds in our Satellite Space, and multidisciplinary art classes for school-aged children in neighboring public schools. We seek creative and passionate educators to work part-time as group teachers in these programs. We ask that all applicants have: an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field; or a Child Development Associate Credential or other to the preschool developmental period; and one year of experience related to caring for children or. 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field, with a plan of study leading to a Child Development Associate Credential, other or a recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period, or an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field; and two years of experience related to caring for children. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 2 pm-6 pm, at a rate of $22/hr Group Teacher positions are also available.
