Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a Manager, Social Partnerships to lead social strategy and brand collaborations and to elevate how the brand shows up in culture. This role will shape Van Leeuwen's social presence and partnership strategy, driving cultural relevance, community engagement, and brand growth.


The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative marketer with a strong cultural POV who can turn social content and partnerships into meaningful brand moments. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, and growth - owning how Van Leeuwen shows up in social, partnerships, and cultural conversations.


This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office three days a week.


Job Responsibilities


Social Strategy Brand Voice


  • Develop and execute Van Leeuwen's social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels
  • Evolve and protect the brand's social voice, ensuring consistency across content
  • Translate brand initiatives, product launches, and campaigns into compelling social narratives
  • Identify cultural moments and trends where Van Leeuwen can authentically participate
  • Actively engage with relevant brands, creators, and cultural moments across social platforms, building relationships and increasing Van Leeuwen's visibility and relevance
  • Collaborate with PR and creative to create integrated brand moments that extend beyond social

Brand Partnerships Collaborations


  • Develop, and manage strategic brand partnerships and collaborations
  • Own partnership ideation and execution from concept to launch
  • Build a pipeline of culturally relevant collaborations that drive brand buzz and business impact

Creator, Influencer Community Strategy


  • Develop and manage a creator and influencer strategy
  • Own day-to-day community engagement across social platforms, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions with on-brand voice while managing and scheduling posting of content on Van Leeuwen's social channels
  • Cultivate community engagement initiatives like our Insider Program, Ambassador Program and Broadcast Channel, that build an active, loyal fan base and turn highly engaged followers into organic advocates for the brand
  • Surface insights, trends, and audience feedback to inform content and campaigns to in-house team to ensure content performs with high engagement

E-mail


  • Create email calendar and develop strategies for each email channel
  • Work with the in-house designer to design email content

Customer engagement


  • Manage customer interactions on social platforms with strict response timing, while collaborating with key stakeholders to escalate trending and large scale scenarios when appropriate
  • Co-manage a Cx team member with the VP of Marketing that will help support in this capacity

Analytics, Reporting Research


  • Utilize social listening tools and leverage analytics to review performance data on social media and digital platforms
  • Develop KPIs for each platform, with a clear path to achieve and track against key benchmarks

Job Requirements


  • 6 to 8 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, partnerships, or related fields
  • Proven experience developing social strategies and executing brand collaborations
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate insights into compelling content and partnerships
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Knowledge understanding of social tactics and latest trends
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, trends, and creator ecosystems
  • Strong creative POV
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for food, culture, and consumer brand
  • Must be comfortable working in-store scoop shifts as needed, while adhering to DOH guidelines

Compensation + Benefits


$75,000 - 105,000 annual compensation depending on experience, paid weekly

$75,000---$105,000 USD
