We are looking for an ambitious Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes and pastries in the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes. A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment and have the food handle certificate

The Pizzeria Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking pizza and related menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. The cook works closely with the kitchen team to ensure fast, consistent, and delicious food service. Key Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes Cook pizzas using stone, gas, electric, or wood-fired ovens Prepare additional menu items such as pasta, appetizers, and salads (if required) Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are met Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards Manage food prep and minimize waste Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a cook in a pizzeria or similar kitchen preferred Knowledge of pizza preparation and basic Italian cuisine Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Good teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina for standing long hours
