We service residential and commercial customers across eight states, and we are growing every day! Mpower’s success has been largely due to our relentless efforts to develop our in-house sales staff and have them fast-track through the ranks into leadership roles.
Mpower proudly offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time W-2 Residential Solar Consultant at our Staten Island, NY office. Our team of appointment setters will schedule qualified appointments for you to meet with homeowners. The Solar Sales Consultant is an integral part of the Solar Division, being the primary point of contact with customers and providing them with details on the benefits of going solar.
The ideal candidate will utilize strong critical thinking skills, an ambitious attitude, and a strong work ethic to effectively demonstrate the benefits of partnering with Mpower for their Solar needs.

Responsibilities:
Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
Educate potential clients about the benefits of solar–saving + environment
Analyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to enable you to close the sale
Manage accounts from an initial consultation to the installation
Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience
Participate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing your earning potential, team building, and mentoring from our leaders

Income Expectation:
Minimum OTE based on performance - $140k to $200k
Performance bonuses

Potential to get promoted into Senior Solar Consultant within 12 months

Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in Solar Sales roles, insurance, automotive, real estate or home remodelling sales
English/Spanish bilingual preferred
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Positive, solution-oriented attitude
Outgoing personality
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle
