Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS Provide detailed menu description and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, address any concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Clear tables, bussing dishes swiftly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties with basic math skills Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene protocols at all times Assist with opening or closing duties such as setting up stations or cleaning work areas in compliance with sanitation regulations Collaborate with team members including hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably within fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Clover POS Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters guest relations Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting guests Demonstrated upselling abilities to promote menu items confidently and increase sales revenue Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or host/hostess positions that emphasize guest services and guest relations Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your enthusiasm makes every guest’s visit extraordinary! This solo role, integral to the legal team, requires an organized, independent individual capable of handling multiple cases simultaneously while supporting administrative staff. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant laws and firm policies, facilitate court filings, and maintain detailed records in a dynamic legal environment focused on landlord-tenant matters. Responsibilities • Serve legal documents per CPLR 735 and RPAPL 308 regulations, • Prepare and file affidavits in NYC courts, • Maintain accurate records of service and documentation, • Travel frequently within New York City boroughs to execute service, • Perform administrative duties including affidavit preparation and use of office equipment, • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, • Serve documents during variable hours, including at least two nights per week, • Communicate effectively with attorneys and staff across the firm, • Manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong time management and multitasking skills Required Qualifications • Active New York City Process Server License in good standing and meeting all certification requirements., • Minimum three (3) years of legal process serving experience., • Knowledge of CPLR 735 and RPAPL service requirements., • Familiarity with New York City Housing Court filing procedures and affidavit preparation., • Familiarity with all five New York City boroughs., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to send and receive emails from a mobile device.
