This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial buildings to infrastructure and industrial structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction of structures, ensuring they are safe, stable, and capable of withstanding the elements and use. This role requires a deep understanding of the principles of structural engineering and a creative approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop structural systems for various types of buildings and structures using materials such as concrete and masonry., 2. Perform analysis of structural components and systems, applying knowledge of structural engineering principles., 3. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the structural design is integrated with all other aspects of the project., 4. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, colleagues, and senior management., 5. Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring they comply with design requirements and all applicable codes and standards., 6. Supervise the construction of structures, ensuring they are built according to the design and maintaining quality control throughout the process., 7. Conduct site inspections and structural assessments, identifying any potential issues and proposing solutions., 8. Stay updated with the latest developments in structural engineering, including new materials, technologies, and design methods. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage., 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on concrete and masonry structures., 3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required., 4. Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification is desirable., 5. Proficiency in using structural engineering software., 6. Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction methods., 7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills., 8. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people at all levels., 9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work., 10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines., 11. Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations., 12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
