Pride Health is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to support our client’s medical facility based in Summit, NJ. This is a 13-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Credentialing Specialist Location: Summit, NJ Hourly W2 pay: $25/hr - $30/hr Schedule: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Start date: 06/01/2026 Responsibilities: Supports provider credentialing and privileging for physicians and allied health professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. Process initial and reappointment applications (125–200 quarterly) Verify provider licenses, certifications, education, training, malpractice history, and work experience Manage credentialing, privileging, payer enrollment, and re-credentialing processes Maintain provider records in Echo database and track expirations Prepare materials for Credentials Committee, MEC, and Board of Trustees meetings Support medical staff meetings, take minutes as needed, and collect dues Ensure compliance with bylaws, legal, federal/state regulations, TJC/NCQA standards Serve as liaison between providers, HR, medical staff offices, and payers Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Credentialing process knowledge required Strong organization, data analysis, communication, and computer skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
