A rapidly growing, design-driven company in the baby products/appliance space is looking for a Senior Packaging Designer to join its creative team. This role focuses on crafting high-quality, visually refined, and production-ready packaging solutions across a range of brand touchpoints. The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with precision and has experience taking projects from early concept through final production. This position works closely with cross-functional teams, including creative leadership, marketing, product development, external designers, photographers, and global manufacturing partners. This is on-site, 4 days a week (Mon - Thurs) in Newark, NJ. What You’ll Do • Develop and execute packaging design across product boxes, manuals, labels, retail displays, and point-of-sale materials, • Create supporting print assets such as brochures, catalogs, trade show graphics, and other branded materials, • Prepare final artwork and ensure files are properly set up for print and packaging production, • Partner with international teams to review packaging proofs, implement revisions, and support production rollout, • Coordinate translation and localization efforts for global packaging and instructional materials, • Collaborate with marketing and global stakeholders to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all assets, • Maintain cohesive visual standards while continuously elevating the brand’s overall look and feel, • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, owning timelines, feedback cycles, and final outputs, • Support ongoing development and refinement of the brand’s visual identity across all consumer-facing materials, • Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure packaging clearly communicates key product benefits while maintaining a premium aesthetic, • Review layouts, copy, dielines, and technical specifications to ensure quality and accuracy prior to production What You Bring • 4+ years of experience in packaging, graphic design, or print production within a consumer product environment, • Strong knowledge of print and packaging workflows, including dielines, color accuracy, and pre-press processes, • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Figma preferred; experience with generative tools is a plus, • Experience producing a variety of print materials, including retail and marketing collateral, • Ability to independently manage projects, juggle priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment, • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and file management discipline, • Comfortable collaborating across teams while also taking initiative and ownership of work, • Clear communication and presentation skills, • Solid understanding of typography, layout, and contemporary design trends, especially within premium brands, • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Nice to Have • Experience working with international manufacturing or production partners, • Background in consumer goods, baby products, appliances, or lifestyle brands, • Familiarity with retail packaging requirements and retailer-specific guidelines, • Basic knowledge of photography, retouching, or product visualization workflows
