Job Description Hercules is looking for a motivated and experienced Supervisor for our parts distribution operation in Hicksville, New York. Estimated Salary: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Provide supervision of day-to-day operations including receiving, stocking, shipping and all transactions related to said activities, • Ensure efficiency and accuracy of stocking and organizing parts inventory, • Work closely with the Parts Buyers, as well as with internal and external customers, • Drive a safety-first culture, to ensure everyone is contributing to a safe work environment, • Leverage continuous improvement principles to refine processes and drive improved performance in operational KPIs, • Coach, develop and provide actionable feedback to your direct reports – i.e. Warehouse Associates, • Create and execute the daily operational game plan for to ensure Safety, Quality, Throughput and Cycle Time KPIs are met daily, • Root cause operational failures and develop strategies to prevent future failures, • Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably service parts related, • Robust experience in creating metrics for performance management, • Able to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various teams including service and supply chain personnel, • Track record of developing, implementing and driving business processes and policies, • Proven ability to provide leadership and motivation to warehouse personnel, • Familiarity with inbound receiving and outbound shipping requirements via UPS or LTL common freight carriers (predominantly domestic, potentially some Canada), • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, • Experience using Great Plains a significant plus Here's a little bit about us: With more than 60 years of experience in the multi-family laundry industry, Hercules is an award winning provider of laundry rooms for co-ops, condos, colleges and rental buildings, along with most on-premise laundries in the NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, DE, MD and PA region.
