Job Description At Keiko Studios we desire to give clients a special experience when they step into our doors. As a rapidly-growing company, we are looking for an experienced receptionist/administrative assistant to join our team. Receptionists take on the responsibility of communicating with clients and creating an environment where they feel warmly welcomed by having an energetic and positive attitude. They also assist the employer in daily tasks, such as signing up students, scheduling, answering phone calls, and providing information regarding music lessons, venue rentals, and affiliated programs. Shifts: (23 hrs per week): • Tuesdays - 1:00pm - 8:30pm, • Fridays - 12:30pm - 8:00pm, • Saturdays - 9:00am - 2:30pm, • Schedule lessons/appointments and process payments, • Take notes of daily activity, • Warmly greet clients and provide information, • Respond to incoming calls, texts, and emails, • Event planning and preparation, • Update paperwork, maintain documents, and word processing, • Register clients, provide tours, and book venue rentals, • Creating advertising materials and monthly e-newsletters, • Helping organize, clean, and maintain office common areas., • Scan and make copies of policies, and prepare student retention, • Saturday & Sunday availability is required, • Must have receptionist or customer service experience, • Must be proficient using Google Suite and have strong computer skills, • Must have strong verbal and written communication, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills, • Must have good time management and multi-tasking skills, • Attention to detail and confidentiality are required, • Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail, • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Company DescriptionKeiko Studios was inspired by Ashley Keiko, a musician/advocate/educator, exploring the importance of music and how individuals can express themselves through it. We are now offering private lessons on piano, guitar, vocals, drums, violin, and saxophone. These music lessons offer music theory, sight reading, creative composing, weekly assignments, recitals and other performance opportunities. Keiko Studios also provides group lessons on select instruments, in-school music programs to DOE, charter, and private schools, early childhood music classes, venue rentals and more. Since the opening of the storefront in 2018, the academy has been featured on Now This News, PIX 11 News, and has been recognized by both of Ashley Keiko’s alma maters, School of Jazz at The New School University, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
