Job DescriptionDescription: Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Welcome guests to the bar and make them feel comfortable. Let them know that you’re there to take care of them., • Enter food and beverage orders from guests and servers into the point-of-sale system., • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with our drink recipes., • Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt in the point-of-sale system, • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change., • Wash and sterilize glassware., • Present Cantina Menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages, food and restaurant services., • Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food, drinks, and service., • Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers., • Maintain organization and cleanliness in the bar area., • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift, as management requires., • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar., • Be familiar with TABC and Alcohol Service policies., • Assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies., • Be ready and willing to assist fellow bartenders and servers. Reasonable accommodations may enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Previous restaurant experience is required., • Ability to read and understand simple instructions., • Ability to write simple correspondence., • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members., • Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money., • Ability to operate computer point-of-sale system., • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits., • Must be at least 18 years old., • Food Handler Certification is required.
