CROWD Coffee is looking for experienced specialty coffee baristas to join our team at two Brooklyn locations. We’re currently hiring for: 1. Evening Barista - 9000 Bay Parkway Located inside the MatchPoint building. Typical shift: approximately 2:30-3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, until close. This position is a great fit for someone who may already have another job and is looking for consistent evening shifts. 1. Full-Time Barista - Coney Island Ave & Avenue Y Located at Le Café Grand Prix. We’re looking for one full-time barista to become a consistent part of the team and grow with the location. We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of specialty coffee experience who is comfortable working independently behind the bar and understands coffee beyond simply following recipes. You should be comfortable with: Dialing in espresso and adjusting grind throughout the day Understanding extraction and making adjustments when needed Milk steaming and consistent latte art Maintaining speed, cleanliness, and organization during service Providing friendly and professional customer service Keeping the coffee bar properly stocked and maintained Strong latte art and solid espresso knowledge are important. Opportunity to grow For the right person, there is an opportunity to grow into a Lead Barista position. Lead Barista responsibilities may include: Inventory management Placing weekly orders Creating and managing staff schedules Opening/closing procedures Maintaining coffee quality and recipes Training new baristas Helping organize daily bar operations Compensation Starting pay: $20/hour + approximately $6–8/hour in tips. We’re open to discussing a higher hourly rate for candidates with strong specialty coffee experience, advanced coffee knowledge, leadership experience, competition experience, or a proven background in high-quality specialty coffee shops.
