Job DescriptionSalary: $45,000 Summary: The successful candidate will be under the supervision of the Security Director and Site Director. The primary responsibility will be to oversee and instruct the security staff of their assigned facility. The shift supervisor will be required to provide direction and assistance to both Residence Workers and Security Guards ensuring a safe environment for both employees and clients. Responsibilities: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to: • Monitor the clients, units, and grounds at all times to ensure the security and safety of each resident, • Examine all items entering the facility to ensure client and staff safety, • Provide crisis prevention and intervention as needed, • Record incidents and residents grievances appropriate in logbook and on incident report, • Maintain ongoing communication with all department supervisors concerning social services issues, • Manage entry logs to ensure all persons entering the facility are recorded and accounted for, • Inspect all cleaning and service chores assigned to program aides to ensure completion, • Participate in the development of site goals and objectives by making recommendations that can aide in site efficiency, • Assist clients with questions and resolving any issue as they may arise, • Monitor video surveillance of all areas of the facility, • Adhere to safety, health, and fire hazard guidelines, policies and procedures, • Report any immediate safety hazards to appropriate supervisory personnel or maintenance personnel, • Work diplomatically to solve issues that may arise, • Provide coverage when necessary, • May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, • Perform all other required duties to ensure the facility is running efficiently Professional & Personal Qualifications: • NYS Security License, F-80 Certificate of Fitness, CPR/Basic First Aid certification., • Minimum High School Diploma/GED, • Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries in working with clients, • General knowledge of working in a residential facility preferred, • Knowledge of HIPPA guidelines and standards, • Bi-lingual Spanish/English is a plus, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, • Commitment to excellence and high standards, • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions, • Ability to assess emergency situations and respond effectively

Job Description Commercial Litigation Paralegal Location: Garden City, NY Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Day Shift, Hybrid: 4 days in the office) Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 Per Year We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a busy and dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-stakes litigation while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today. The T Building is a building which was developed and is operated by Dunn Development Corp., a private developer, and NY Health and Hospitals. The T Building is a residential building located in the Jamaica section of Queens. The project has 200 residential dwelling units. CAMBA, Inc. is the on-site services provider at the T Building. Seventy-Five apartments, will be master leased by CAMBA and will house chronically homeless single adults who are diagnosed with SPMI (seriously and persistently mentally ill). The remaining units are occupied by low income lottery community residents. Position: Full-Time Security Guard Reports To: Program Director Location: 82-41 Parsons Blvd, Jamaica, New York 11432 What The Full-Time Security Guard Does: • Monitor and ensure the security and fire safety of the entire facility., • Employ crisis prevention/intervention and crisis management skills when conflict occurs., • Patrol buildings and grounds of facilities where CAMBA programs are located., • Examine doors, windows, gates and all fire exits to determine that they are secure and in accordance with all fire regulations., • Observe and report irregularities such as unusual tenant behavior, trespassers, fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked., • Monitor tenants and facility via security camera systems., • Conduct fire safety patrol and report findings or fire safety concerns to appropriate supervisory personnel., • Conduct security screenings of all tenants and visitors entering the facility., • Issue commendations to support positive tenant behaviors such as peers helping peers, compliance with rules and regulations, etc., • Counsel tenants that violate rules (such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles) and complete infraction reports., • Observe departing employees, visitors and/or tenants to guard against theft of CAMBA property., • Document in the security log book and incident report forms property damage, unusual occurrences, and incidents with employees, visitors and tenants., • Maintain assigned equipment per shift., • Sign equipment in and out for each shift., • Obtain “Criminal History Checks” (CHC) fingerprinting through the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice System) and Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance., • Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance throughout the duration of employment., • Must sign NYC DOH/MH attestation stating that candidate has not been the subject of a founded child abuse report., • As a Mandated Reporter, you must immediately report suspected incidents/cases of abuse and neglect to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) Hotline at 1-855-373-2122 and complete a CAMBA Incident Report., • Must have 8 hour Pre-Assignment security guard training course certificate., • Must obtain 16 hour On-the-Job security guard training course certificate within 90 days of employment., • Must complete 8 Hour Annual In-Service Course each calendar year., • Must have and maintain a NYS Security Guard license., • Must obtain NYS Security Guard registration, and must maintain registration during employment.
