Responsibilities • Configure and customize the Epic Professional Billing application to meet business needs and workflows, • Maintain and support the Resolute Professional Billing module, including charges, benefit engines, and collection agency workflows, • Perform ongoing system maintenance, updates, and testing of system changes before migrating to production, • Analyze financial workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, • Collaborate with IT, finance, and operational stakeholders to align Epic workflows with business needs, • Serve as the primary support contact for Epic Professional Billing end-users, including troubleshooting billing and reimbursement issues, • Provide training, education, and procedural documentation for system users, • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, • Current certification in Epic Professional Billing, • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Epic Professional Billing, including charge router, work queue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing codes, and insurance procedures, • Familiarity with professional billing vs. hospital billing differences, • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems, • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, • Medical, Dental, and Vision (BCBS), • 401(k) retirement plan, • Flexible Spending Account (FSA), • Tuition reimbursement, • Paid time off, 9 paid holidays, and 12 sick days
