Job DescriptionSenior Tax Associate Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on compliance and strategic tax planning. Your expertise will support our clients in navigating complex tax regulations and optimizing their tax positions. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships (1065), corporations (1120), and individuals (1040) with a focus on high net worth clients., • Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax strategies and implications for clients in various industries., • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize efficiency., • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with regulations., • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations to provide clients with informed advice., • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field., • Active CPA or EA designation is preferred but not required, • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax., • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations., • Experience with tax compliance and planning for partnerships, corporations, and high net worth individuals., • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
