Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Account Manager will support business relationships with an assigned group of clients by providing customer service and follow-up. This individual will work closely with Account Managers, Account Executives, GA’s, and Producers, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of employee benefit services. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure client satisfaction and delivering an exceptional level of customer service in a professional and timely manner, • Process enrollments and terminations via carrier websites and Employee Navigator software, • Build out plan information and enrollments into Employee Navigator as instructed, • As requested by the Account Service Team, review policies, benefit summaries, SPD’s, forms and rates and invoices for accuracy, • Utilize Agency Management System as required by company policy, • Assist Account Management Team by contacting carriers to submit and research employee claim issues, • Provide claims, eligibility, billing and plan administration advocacy and resolution, • Assist the Account Management Team in developing renewal proposals, including creating comparative spreadsheets, • Provide a daily summary of work completed and pending items, • Assist Account Team with billing audits reviews, • Assist Account Team with open enrollment process such as set up virtual meetings, memos and communications, and implementation functions, • Perform additional duties as assigned by Account Managers or leadership. REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 2 years of work experience in a brokerage firm, • Active Life & Health License, • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, online benefit enrollment systems, and automated agency management systems. Familiarity with Employee Navigator and/or multiple payroll platforms a plus., • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Ability to write and verbally communicate in a professional and clear manner, • Ability to work independently as well as with other team members, • Excellent oral and written English communications skills., • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills. This position would be located in our Poughkeepsie, NY or Melville, NY office locations.
