We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Representative - Customs Brokerage (Entry Writer) to support daily international logistics operations in Franklin Square. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing shipments while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and other government agencies. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate clearance of goods into the United States. • Act as the primary customer service liaison between the company and clients, • Process U.S. Customs entries and Other Government Agency (OGA) filings, • Open and manage shipment files in CargoWise and/or AS400 systems, • Classify commercial invoices using HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule), • Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory agencies (FDA, EPA, FCC, Fish & Wildlife, etc.), • Communicate with internal departments, carriers, vendors, and government agencies, • Coordinate shipments with airlines, ocean carriers, forwarders, and agents, • Track and trace shipments, providing updates and resolving issues, • Convert and verify shipment weights, volumes, and foreign currencies, • Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems, • Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and shipment updates, • Handle accounting-related processes accurately and on time, • Review and prepare documentation to meet regulatory and carrier requirements, • Minimum 3 years of customs brokerage experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience), • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and OGA requirements, • Experience with freight clearance processes Ready to make an immediate impact?
