Job Description SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: To provide exceptional dental care to children and adolescents in a supportive, welcoming environment. This role focuses on ensuring positive patient experiences, building long-term relationships with families, and contributing to the continued growth and success of Glow Dental. LOCATION: Freeport, NY JOB TYPE: Part Time (1-2 days) JOB TITLE: Pediatric Dentist SALARY RANGE: Guaranteed daily minimum of $1,400 or 40% of production (whichever is greater). EXPECTED START DATE: January 2026 REPORTS TO: Practice Owner DATE (Last revised): November 13, 2025 ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Deliver high-quality pediatric dental care including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatment., • Build trust and rapport with children and their families to reduce dental anxiety and foster positive experiences., • Educate patients and parents on oral health, treatment plans, and preventive care., • Diagnose and treat dental conditions using evidence-based techniques and technologies., • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records in accordance with practice protocols., • Adhere to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines., • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent experiences., • Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry., • Participate in community outreach, marketing, or educational initiatives as needed., • Proficiency in pediatric dental procedures and behavior management techniques, including for special needs patients., • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents and team members., • Empathy, patience, and ability to handle challenging behaviors with a calm and reassuring approach., • Team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset., • Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental or equivalent) and digital radiography., • Ability to stand, sit, and perform dental procedures for extended periods., • Position will begin as part-time (1–2 days per week) with strong potential to transition into a full-time role over time., • Saturday availability is preferred., • DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school., • Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program., • Current New York State dental license., • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Dentistry., • 1+ years of private practice pediatric dental experience preferred., • Experience with special needs patients., • Collaborative, supportive team focused on patient-centered care., • Modern, kid-friendly office equipped with advanced technology and digital dentistry tools., • Competitive compensation with guaranteed daily minimum plus production-based earnings., • Flexible scheduling options with both full-time and part-time opportunities available., • Community-focused practice with opportunities to engage in outreach programs.
