Our challenge We are looking for The Workday Configuration Consultant that Configures, administers, and supports complex Workday business processes, partnering with business stakeholders to optimize the platform and sustain a well-controlled, audit-ready environment. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $110 - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: • Configure and troubleshoot complex Workday business processes, • Perform Workday administrative functions, including tenant configuration, data loads, integrations, and reporting, • Provide pre- and post-implementation end-user support, • Manage change, issue resolution, and testing, • Deliver training to enhance and optimize Workday processes, • Operate within Sandbox environments and an established, well-controlled systems environment, • Define, document, and enforce system standards, • Document technology specifications for current and future configuration, • Maintain accurate change-management documentation, • Support internal and external audit controls and compliance practices, • Act as domain support for feature releases and issue resolution, • Support the Workday Solution Architect to define scope, prioritize, plan, and implement system changes and enhancements Requirements: • Core HCM, specific Workday domain(s), testing, security, and deployment, • Solid working knowledge of at least three Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Retirement/Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Talent Management, • Multi-domain experience is a plus, • Workday custom objects, business processes, core setup, and the security framework, • Understanding of Workday methodologies, feature releases, and best practices, • Strong expertise in cloud-based, multi-tenant systems, • Awareness of information and data security, • Deep understanding of the Workday data model, • Optimize Studio integrations following Workday best practices, • Integration experience across any three Workday domains/modules, • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field., • Proven experience developing integrations in Workday HCM., • Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect., • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and other relevant technologies., • Experience with Workday security and access controls., • Familiarity with HR processes, payroll, and benefits administration., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., • Workday Integration Certification (e.g., Workday HCM Integrations) Desired Skills: • Knowledge or experience of VNDLY is a plus, • Understanding of Agile development processes (requirements gathering, development intake), • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through until closure, • Professional maturity: proactive, comfortable facing off with business partners, strong communication, and conflict-resolution skills, • Developers are expected to have familiarity with EIBs and APIs We offer: • A highly competitive compensation and benefits package., • A multinational organization with 57 offices in 22 countries and the possibility to work abroad., • 10 days of paid annual leave (plus sick leave and national holidays)., • Maternity & paternity leave plans., • A comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-/short-term disability (plans vary by region)., • Retirement savings plans., • A higher education certification policy., • Commuter benefits (varies by region)., • Extensive training opportunities, focused on skills, substantive knowledge, and personal development., • On-demand Udemy for Business for all Synechron employees with free access to more than 5000 curated courses., • Coaching opportunities with experienced colleagues from our Financial Innovation Labs (FinLabs) and Center of Excellences (CoE) groups., • Cutting edge projects at the world’s leading tier-one banks, financial institutions and insurance firms., • A flat and approachable organization., • A truly diverse, fun-loving, and global work culture.
