Job DescriptionSummary: The Clinical Pharmacist – Pharma Services role will provide leadership and operational execution of Apotheco clinical pharmacy program(s) and other operational programs as needed. This role will provide clinical support to patients to ensure adequate therapeutic outcomes are met, improving medication adherence, and ensure appropriate medication utilization. Additionally, the role will actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure the highest standards of patient care and service. Key responsibilities include managing customer flow, building patient relationships, providing the highest level of customer service, quality of care, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical services and programs. Other duties and functions may be assigned that are consistent with your title. This position can be remote, home-based position requiring reliable internet access and private workspace for confidential patient interactions. Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, confidentiality standards and security protocols applicable to remote employees. Education/Experience: • B.S. or PharmD in Pharmacy from an accredited program, • Experience with desktop support including, but not limited to, Windows Operating system, networking, printers, scanners, remote management software, VOIP system, O365 and MS Office Suite. Duties and Responsibilities: They include the following. Other duties may be assigned; • Manage day-to-day assigned program operations, ensuring optimal patient flow, customer service, quality of care, and operational needs., • Conduct inbound and outbound telephonic calls related to specific clinical programs., • Maintain a culture of continuous process improvement and operational excellence., • Ensure patient care is coordinated effectively and delivered to the highest standards, achieving strong patient satisfaction scores., • Serve as point of escalation for appropriate patient concerns., • Coordinate with corporate departments (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) to resolve operational or patient issues., • Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and performance updates., • Support the creation and implementation of company policies, procedures, and best-practice guidelines., • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organization positively across all locations and scenarios., • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA requirements., • Assist in the development, launch, and monitoring of new pharmacy service programs., • Document and report adverse events or side effects per internal and external reporting protocols., • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support business needs. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and e-mail as noted below.
