Position Summary: The Director, Manufacturing Engineering (ME Director) is responsible for supporting business goals including product cost and quality, schedule adherence and delivery on-time to customer demand. It is a hands-on position that is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment support the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity goals of the business. This ME Director plays an integral part in plant operations, special projects, OPEX, and is responsible for developing and maintaining motivated team and for supporting budgetary and production targets. The team is responsible to ensure all production processes are defined using the standard work formats and templates as well as to create any training documents required to ensure production operators can perform the work in accordance with the documented standard., • Support and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing metrics including quality, yields, cycle time, productivity, and cost. Promote process improvement, and LEAN manufacturing methodologies and 5S processes., • Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices., • Timely and thorough implementation of engineering changes. Actively partner in the creation and review of engineering changes when needed., • Establish and monitor overall performance for product and quality standards; recommend process improvements / quality control programs. Recommend changes in work practices to improve production standards and product quality., • Ensure the ME team is properly deployed to support the daily needs of the business, new product introduction, cost reduction projects, or other duties as needed., • Oversee the Operational Excellence (cost reduction) plans for the site. Coordinate and manage the projects at a tactical level and develop the project tracking tools to report out to senior management., • Coordinate, review, and present data for the purchase of capital equipment, tooling improvements to audiences at various levels of the company., • Provide technical support and recommendations to both internal and external customer technical/quality teams regarding process improvements, non-conforming parts, defects, and repair/rework., • Author annual performance reviews and develop continuing education and advancement paths for entire department. Key Responsibilities • Initiate pre-employment processes, including referrals, drug testing, and background checks., • Send new hire packets via Accu Data and ensure timely completion of all onboarding documentation., • Coordinate with IT and Accounting to set up email access, iPads, system permissions, and company credit cards., • Conduct comprehensive new-hire orientations covering policies, systems access, payroll structure, PTO processes, benefits, and more., • Gather employee data for Accu Data and create employee ID badges; maintain records and track badge expirations.., • Ensure proper multi-state tax setup for all new hires and assist pilots in verifying correct tax deductions on their first paystub., • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for two companies with high accuracy, including approving PTO/expenses, verifying timecards, entering bonuses and payouts, and running payroll upon approval., • Manage post-payroll tasks, including sending reports to Accounting and administration., • Process 401(k) fund allocations through Fidelity and complete contribution reporting through Inspira., • Review and resolve payroll tax-related issues, coordinating with state agencies, payroll providers, and Accounting., • Coordinate random Drug (DOT) and Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) to maintain compliance., • Prepare employment verification letters and complete background check requests for former employees., • Create training modules, instructional videos, and spreadsheets to support payroll and expense processes., • Generate and analyze various HR reports (termination, personal data, new hire, employment details) and coordinate any needed data corrections., • Update HR and payroll checklists, onboarding materials, and pilot presentations to ensure continuous improvement., • Support employees with PTO, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement policy questions and request procedures.

The Application and Governance Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining a strong and compliant IT control environment while supporting the Bank’s data reporting and application performance needs.
