Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Duration: 14 Weeks (Contract) Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: 3 Days/Week (34.5 Hours) Pay Rate: $50 – $58/hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Med/Surg unit in Elmhurst, NY. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, supporting post-operative recovery, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, • Provide direct bedside care to medical and post-surgical patients, • Administer medications and monitor patient responses, • Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV insertion, and catheterization, • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or adverse reactions promptly, • Operate and monitor medical equipment as required, • Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment and discharge planning, • Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery care, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation, • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program, • Active RN License (State of New York), • AHA BLS Certification, • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience (within the past year), • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and post-operative care, • AHA ACLS Certification, • Experience with EPIC EMR system For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
