Job Description The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving/Warranty Clerk with Rallye BMW! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team! Responsibilities for this position include: • Track incoming and outgoing shipments, and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records., • Determine shipment methods. Prepare shipments, including: affix shipping labels, assemble packaging containers, pack parts into containers using spacers, fillers & protective padding, affix shipping instructions, charges, and postage., • Receive incoming shipments, including: unpack & examine shipment contents, reject damaged, • items, record shortages, place parts into stock or customer bins quickly and accurately., • Receive unsold parts returned by parts driver., • Keep Parts Manager informed of all problems and stock requirements., • Stock parts as needed, and pull parts orders as needed., • Notify other departments in the dealership when their parts arrive., • Attend or complete any required training.
