Power Moves Gymnastics is looking for a self- motivated, positive, and inspirational individual with acro, cheer, gymnastics, or tumbling experience for our youth and teen pop- up gymnastics program in Westbury, Long Island. Duties and responsibilities include: - Assist and instruct gymnastics classes - Lead youth warm- up activities, gymnastics lessons, and conditioning exercises - Assist with program promotions and intake - Set up weekly gym setups amd break down of mats and equipment at end of class - Communicate with customers and parents on athlete progress - Motivate and promote sportsmanship and safety to attendees and athletes

We are currently looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. We offer many types of treatment, including Swedish and deep tissue massages. In this role, you determine the unique needs of each client before providing them with soothing or rehabilitative treatments. Applicants must have their state license in massage therapy as well as liability insurance, which we require in the unlikely case one of our clients experiences bodily injury or an allergic reaction. We also offer aromatherapy treatments, so any experience with the healing properties of essential oils is a plus. Responsibilities: Determine the symptoms or needs of each client Manipulate clients' soft tissues and joints to treat injuries and promote general wellness. Discuss clients' symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals Design sessions based on individual needs and suggest future appointments Provide Swedish, deep tissue, and other common types of massage treatments Locate areas of tension or pain before and during the massage Maintain client records and wellness charts Prepare the treatment room for each client Suggest ways that clients can stretch, strengthen, or relax their muscles at home Qualifications: Associate degree or certificate in massage therapy State licensure or certification in massage therapy Liability insurance Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a massage therapist Strong interpersonal skills Physical ability to stand for long periods of time Customer service skills

About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, mission-driven individual to join our team for a short-term contract supporting Malikah’s self-defense programming, events, and partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to safety and empowerment work in immigrant a Muslim-majority communities, and to develop key skills in nonprofit event planning, partnership cultivation, and grassroots organizing. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support the planning and execution of 15-20 self-defense trainings and flagship, brand visibility events reaching 200 people during four months in Inwood and Washington Heights. Cultivate and pitch new partnership and brand collaboration opportunities. Assist in maintaining and growing relationships with current and prospective community partners. Support with outreach, scheduling, and logistics for self-defense workshops and public events. Attend community events to represent Malikah and support in-person coordination. Provide administrative and communications support as needed related to programs and events. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
