Collaboration with design and production teams: While the buyer doesn’t design products, they work closely with the design and production teams to ensure selected items are feasible in terms of manufacturing, quality, and cost.
Pricing strategy: In collaboration with marketing and sales teams, the buyer may influence pricing strategies, finding a balance between profitability and market competitiveness.
Sustainability and social responsibility: In today’s fashion industry, buyers also play a role in selecting suppliers that meet ethical and sustainable standards, ensuring that manufacturing practices are environmentally and socially responsible.
