Job Title: Luxury Beauty Salon Facial and Body Treatments Technician (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Location: Valencia, Spain (border of Canovas and Russafa areas)
Employment Type: Full-time
Timing: Onboarding will occur the week of February 24th 2025. First day of operations will be March 3 2025.

Our beauty salon is a luxury mid-sized establishment on the border of Canovas and Russafa. The vibe is upbeat, fun, social, and filled with music, positive energy, and smiles. We pride ourselves on creating an oasis of elegance and hospitality. We are hiring certified beauty professionals to deliver premium facial and body treatments in line with our luxury ethos. This role is ideal for experienced individuals passionate about beauty and client satisfaction and committed to maintaining the highest service standards.

Facial and Body Treatment Services
Key Requirements - personal:

***Must communicate in a conversational level of English and in fluent or native Spanish. This will be used every day on the job. Please do not apply for this position otherwise.
Must be high-energy, social, outgoing and extroverted. Must love to engage enthusiastically with both local and international customers from around the world.
Must be able (or willing to learn) to consistently upsell, cross-sell, and re-sell techniques to maximize customer loyalty and customer spend across our whole menu of services. Additional earnings for you are possible.

Key Requirements - technical:

Minimum of one year experience in delivering high-quality esthetic treatments
Proficiency in massage techniques, exfoliation, and hair removal
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in esthetic treatments
Familiarity with specialized equipment (like LPG) and techniques like wood therapy

Responsibilities:

Conduct client evaluations and design personalized treatment plans
Execute a range of body and facial treatments
Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service
Utilize communication and sales skills to recommend additional treatments and skincare products
Beyond esthetic treatments, deliver a fun and upbeat hospitality experience for each customer from their arrival to departure.

Customer Experience:

Deliver a five-star customer experience, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, relaxed, and valued.
Maintain a cheerful and approachable demeanor, offering personalized recommendations and follow-up care advice.
Handle client concerns or requests with politeness and professionalism.

Sales and Product Knowledge:

Advise clients on suitable treatments and at-home care products.
Upsell higher-level services, or cross-sell additional services and retail products to enhance customer satisfaction and meet revenue goals.

Operational Excellence:

Maintain treatment rooms to the highest hygiene and organizational standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols at all times.
Prepare and manage tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure a seamless workflow

Collaboration and Training:

Work collaboratively with the salon team to support a harmonious workplace.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with the latest techniques and trends in facial and body treatments.

Qualifications and Skills:
Experience

Minimum 1+ years of experience in a high-end salon, spa, or wellness center specializing in facial and body treatments.

Certifications

Certificate in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification in skincare and bodywork.

Language Proficiency

Fluent in Spanish and conversational English (daily use). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Spanish nationals or Schengen residents to match the cultural and linguistic needs of our clientele.

Professional attitude, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in using advanced beauty equipment and tools.

Expertise in various massage techniques and body therapies

Additional Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays, as required by the salon’s schedule.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage client appointments effectively. Will use salon software system to maintain detailed notes on all customers.
Sales experience in promoting treatments and retail products is advantageous.
