Multinational company world leader in metrology services is looking for an experienced BRANCH MANAGER with a strong technical background to lead its Laboratory based nearby Barcelona city. The role requires a good poise of operational leadership, technical oversight, regulatory compliance, and commercial development, ensuring excellent delivery in highly regulated environments. Scope and Reporting • Reports to: Operations Management Spain, • Team size: 12-13 people Key Responsibilities • Responsible for managing the laboratory's P&L, • Manage laboratory teams (Customer Sales Representative Team, Production Team, Logistics Team) to develop professional and motivated teams, • Focus on high-quality service for customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships with current clients, • Ensure the timely completion of all work within the team's scope by:, • Supervising and coordinating to ensure the full utilization of technicians' capabilities, • Coordinating efforts in the development of automated procedures, • Automate the production process and improve laboratory productivity, • Implement the laboratory's investment plan, • Provide strong customer service focused on customer satisfaction, • Proactively establish and lead action plans, • Build strong working relationships Internally within the management team, • Prepare operational, financial, and quality reports Required Competencies and Skills for the Position • Sense of urgency, strong results orientation, and high proactivity, • Proven experience in profit and loss management in the B2B sector, in competitive industrial services, preferably in the lifescience field, • Sound customer service experience, • Highly operational, • Strong leadership and people management skills, • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills Qualifications and Experience • Engineering, Health Sciences degree, or a related technical field (preferred), • Minimum of 6 years of experience in calibration, metrology, laboratory operations, technical services, or health sciences services, • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries is a plus, • Solid knowledge of accredited laboratories and regulatory inspections, • English level: B2 Contract type and compensation package -Work arrangement: On-site with the possibility of working remotely for 8 hours per week -Permanent employment contract, full-time -Competitive compensation package with fixed and variable salary and company car, according to the candidate's qualifications and experience. -Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., flexible start and end times (8 hours)
