Job Summary Join HBX Group’s Insurtech team and help scale innovative travel insurance solutions across the global travel ecosystem. We are looking for an Insurtech Sales Manager with strong knowledge of travel insurance distribution to drive revenue growth through new partnerships and expansion of existing accounts. This is a commercial, revenue‑focused role , ideal for sales professionals who understand how insurance products are sold through travel platforms such as OTAs, airlines, bedbanks, tour operators, or mobility providers. This role is remote within Spain . Job Responsibilities Drive Commercial Growth: Own the sales pipeline for travel insurance products, acquiring new B2B partners across the travel ecosystem (OTAs, tour operators, airlines, travel tech platforms). Close Revenue‑Generating Deals: Lead negotiations, structure commercial agreements, and close partnerships with clear revenue and margin outcomes. Insurance Product Distribution: Position and sell embedded and ancillary insurance products (e.g. travel protection, cancellation, medical, add‑ons) tailored to partner distribution models. Go‑to‑Market Execution: Work closely with Product, Fintech, Distribution, and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, conversion, and product placement. Account Growth & Performance: Manage and grow partner accounts post‑launch, focusing on conversion, attach rate, and revenue uplift. Market & Partner Intelligence: Stay close to travel insurance trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy. Industry Presence: Represent HBX Group at travel and insurance industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings. Skillset and Experience Required Proven sales experience in travel insurance, insurtech, or ancillary revenue products within the travel industry. Strong understanding of travel distribution models (OTA, airline, tour operator, bedbank, TMC, travel tech). Demonstrated ability to own and close commercial deals , manage a sales pipeline, and deliver against revenue targets. Solid knowledge of insurance products and regulatory considerations within Europe. Commercial mindset with experience negotiating pricing, commissions, revenue‑share, and partnership agreements. Data‑driven approach to improving conversion, attach rates, and partner performance. Fluent in English ; additional European languages (Spanish, Italian, French, or German) are a strong plus. Experience selling embedded insurance or fintech products is highly desirable. Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, scale‑up environment.
