Your Role • Team leader for the design, manufacturing and installation of cladding packages up to £40m in value., • Engage with Clients, statutory bodies and other stakeholders., • Participate to design workshops, testing and site inspections., • Ensure a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to meet the project requirements., • Resource planning and monitoring of teams located in different offices., • Project control, reporting and change management., • Coordinate the preparation of bill of quantities and material ordering., • Develop bespoke systems and contribute to design optimisation and standardisation., • Support the development and implementation of company processes, policies and tools., • Mentoring of junior team members. Your Skills • 8+ years of design experience in the cladding industry., • Proficiency using CAD software., • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and construction., • Understanding of building regulations and relevant standards., • High IT affinity and proficiency using Microsoft Office., • Proactive team member capable of mentoring younger professionals., • Quality driven designer with passion for excellence and high attention to details., • Team player with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines., • Excellent communicator with a customer-oriented attitude., • Ambitious professional with willingness to travel., • Fluent in English. Your Role • Produce and develop high quality 2D/3D detailed drawings., • Drawing production from conception to manufacturing and installation., • Develop bespoke façade systems with the help of experienced senior designers, • Attend internal design workshops with multidisciplinary teams., • Awareness of the SD deliverables and related program, • Follow ASFD working methods and rules, • Ability to prepare, explain and coordinate technical issues., • Independent clarification of technical details with suppliers, • Independent clarification of technical details with internal parties such as engineering and production, etc., • Independent evaluation of project requirements such as ERs and specification Your Skills • Minimum 5Years experience as a designer in the Facade Industry, • Good knowledge of common standard systems for Stick-, Doors and Windows, • Verry good AutoCAD skills, • Good Microsoft Office skills, • Revit and Inventor skills are not necessary but a benefit, • Good technical understanding and organised way of working, • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and construction of bespoken façade systems, • Understanding of building regulations and relevant standards., • Proactive team member capable to coach younger designers., • Capable to work under pressure and to tight deadlines., • Good communication skills, • Fluent in English. Your Role • Engineering of state-of-the-art bespoke cladding systems., • Engage with Clients, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders., • Manage packages of structural engineering work across diverse projects, from design conception through manufacturing and installation., • Develop outline structural schemes to support the design development., • Interrogate specifications and assess risks and opportunities., • Coordinate RFIs and change control processes., • Produce high-quality templates and reports., • Support the continuous improvement of system details, design processes and tools., • Contribute to the preparation of performance test method statements and fire assessments., • Mentor and support the development of younger professionals., • Attend design workshops with multidisciplinary teams. Your Skills • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; ideally a member of a Chartered Institution. Preferably a Master’s degree., • Experience in the cladding industry is preferred., • Proficiency using structural modelling software for frames and plates analysis., • Understanding of aluminium, steel, glass, and concrete materials., • Problem solving with the ability to assimilate and critique potential solutions and opinions., • Proficiency using CAD software. Experience with Revit and Inventor advantageous., • Experience with project management and scheduling tools., • Knowledge of building regulations, CWCT guidelines and relevant standards., • Quality driven engineer with passion for excellence and high attention to details., • Team player with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines., • Excellent communicator with a customer-oriented attitude., • Motivated professional with willingness to travel., • Fluent in English. Your Role • Structure and coordinate BIM cladding models of large construction developments., • Create complex 3D models to extrapolate metadata used for pricing, material ordering and to create manufacturing and installation documentation., • Investigate design solutions within multidisciplinary teams and carry out clash detection studies., • Coordinate design information between the design team and other stakeholders., • Commercial and contractual management of BIM packages., • Proactive team member capable of coaching younger professionals in using advanced modelling software and techniques., • Raising the profile of BIM across divisions., • Keep up-to-date with latest industry standards and ensure their compliance., • Promote excellence and continuous improvement of digital transformation, tools and mindset. Your Skills • Bachelor Degree. Ideally a Master degree and member of a Chartered Institution., • Experience in the cladding industry is preferred., • Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD. Experience using Dynamo, Inventor or parametric software is a plus., • Understanding of manufacturing and construction., • Proactive team member capable of mentoring younger professionals., • Quality driven professional with passion for excellence and high attention to details., • Team player with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines., • Excellent communicator with a customer-oriented attitude., • Creative and dedicated to problem solving, research and digital transformation., • Ambitious professional with willingness to travel., • Fluent in English.
