ph3Position Overview /h3 /brpAt bG+D Mobile Security /b, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive bCloud Engineer /b to join our agile team. You’ll be instrumental in building and managing our bAWS Landing Zone /b, supporting application teams across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and enabling secure, scalable, and automated cloud deployments. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, container orchestration, and system performance. You’ll work in a Scrum team, and experience with SAFe is a plus. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign, implement, and manage AWS Landing Zones and foundational cloud infrastructure. /li /brliSupport migration of application stacks to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. /li /brliManage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker container deployments. /li /brliAutomate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. /li /brliInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, cloud‑native tools, and monitoring solutions. /li /brliSupport cloud‑based solutions across AWS, OpenStack, and other cloud platforms. /li /brliMonitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers on improvements. /li /brliMaintain system security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies. /li /brliWrite and maintain scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. /li /br /ul /brh3Requirements /h3 /brul /brliAt least 8 years of extensive hands‑on experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, Route 53, and AWS Organizations. /li /brliProven experience in migrating application stacks to AWS (rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring). /li /brliMandatory experience with container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (Open Source and OpenShift) and/or Amazon ECS. /li /brliStrong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible. /li /brliSolid experience with Linux/Unix systems administration. /li /brliExperience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker). /li /brliFamiliarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios) and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX). /li /brliUnderstanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP). /li /brliExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams; SAFe experience is a plus. /li /brliStrong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling. /li /brliHigh level of English and Spanish. /li /br /ul /brh3Preferred Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliDegree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. /li /brliAWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). /li /brliKnowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST). /li /brliPrior experience in telecom or mobile network environments. /li /brliUnderstanding of GSMA security and compliance frameworks. /li /br /ul /brh3Benefits /h3 /brul /brliCulture and diversity: Join a people‑oriented environment with different nationalities and a great team spirit, flat hierarchies (everyone speaks to everyone).
