Position Overview In line with the competitive landscape of the Spanish automotive OEM market — characterized by rapid electrification, strong entry of Chinese brands, increasing digital lead acquisition, and high dependence on dealer network conversion — we are seeking a New Media Manager to drive brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation across Spain. This role goes beyond content posting. It requires strategic planning, performance orientation, a deep understanding of the Spanish digital ecosystem, and the ability to convert online engagement into measurable business outcomes (traffic, test drives, leads, and brand consideration). The ideal candidate combines content strategy, performance mindset, and community intelligence, acting as a bridge between brand, media, dealer network, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Social Media Strategy & Brand Positioning • Develop and execute annual and quarterly social media strategies aligned with OEM brand positioning and Spanish market launch priorities. • Define content pillars (product, technology, NEV education, lifestyle, CSR, dealer activation, etc.) to strengthen brand awareness and consideration. • Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all digital platforms. • Benchmark competitors (EV brands, emerging Chinese OEMs, traditional brands) and identify differentiation opportunities. • Lead live-streaming strategy across new media platforms. 2. Platform Management & Content Operations • Manage social media agencies to ensure delivery against established KPIs. • Supervise official brand accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn (if B2B/fleet focus applies). • Plan, script, coordinate production, and publish short-form videos, launch content, behind-the-scenes materials, auto show coverage, and influencer collaborations. • Localize global HQ assets for Spanish audience relevance (language, cultural nuance, regulatory compliance). • Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with brand editorial plans, vehicle launches, campaigns, seasonal promotions, and dealer events. 3. Performance & Lead Conversion Focus • Design social media funnels linking awareness → engagement → website traffic → lead generation → dealer test drives. • Collaborate with Media & Performance Marketing teams to optimize paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads). • Track KPIs including engagement rate, cost per lead, click-through rate, conversion rate, and assisted conversions. • Optimize creatives and messaging based on data insights to improve ROI and marketing efficiency. 4. Community Management & Reputation Control • Monitor and manage community interactions, ensuring timely and professional responses. • Identify potential reputation risks and coordinate with PR and Legal for issue management. • Develop strategies to transform dissatisfied customers into brand advocates. • Analyze audience sentiment and provide structured feedback to Marketing, Sales, and After-sales teams. 5. Influencer & KOL Collaboration • Identify and manage collaborations with automotive influencers, NEV opinion leaders, lifestyle creators, and local KOLs. • Evaluate influencer ROI (engagement quality, traffic generation, brand sentiment impact). • Support product launches, auto shows, and experiential events with influencer amplification. 6. Dealer Digital Enablement • Provide standardized digital guidelines to the dealer network for local social media execution. • Ensure brand compliance across dealer-managed digital channels. • Support dealers with localized content templates and campaign toolkits to improve regional lead generation. 7. Reporting & Strategic Insights • Establish dashboard reporting systems integrating platform data, paid performance metrics, and CRM lead feedback. • Deliver monthly and quarterly digital performance reports with actionable recommendations. • Provide insights on Spanish consumer behavior trends in NEV/EV adoption, mobility perception, and digital engagement patterns. Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. • Experience in automotive OEM, EV brands, or high-value consumer goods strongly preferred. • Proven experience managing multi-platform brand accounts with measurable performance outcomes. Professional Competencies • Strong understanding of the Spanish digital media ecosystem and consumer behavior. • Content creation capability (short-video scripting, production coordination, storytelling). • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret platform analytics and optimize campaigns. • Knowledge of paid social mechanics and collaboration with performance teams. • Understanding of the automotive customer journey (awareness → consideration → test drive → purchase). • Ability to clearly explain product features and technologies to target audiences.
