About the role As the Vehicle Test Technician, you are responsible for setting up, conducting, and assisting in the analysis of a vehicle test to ensure data meets design specifications established by customers. Responsabilities • Knowledge of the basics of Passenger Car, Light Truck, and Vehicle Brake Systems., • Fit and function incoming parts on a Vehicle., • Understanding physical measurements of test components (rotors & brake pads)., • Startup of Data Acquisition equipment, including 3802 & VMAX., • Install and troubleshoot Data Acquisition equipment, basic sensors, and thermocouples on a vehicle., • Knowledge of different pressure transducers., • Measure rotor LRO / DTV & understand LRO / DTV basics., • Read rotor mapping plots., • Monitor tests in progress to ensure they are running to specification., • Ensure test results are complete and accurate., • Assist with test activities and question specifications for new tests.
