Senior Finance Leadership Opportunity | High-Growth EV | Barcelona Our client is a venture-backed electric mobility business that’s redefining performance in the EV and motorsport space. Following significant recent funding and rapid international expansion, the company is scaling its global operations and investing heavily in strengthening its finance leadership structure. This is a pivotal role at the heart of that growth, offering strategic exposure, international scope, and the opportunity to shape a modern, high-performing finance function from the ground up. As a senior finance leader, you will take ownership of the global accounting and financial operations framework, ensuring the business is structured, scalable, and strategically aligned as it continues to expand. Key Responsibilities: Lead group accounting and consolidation under IFRS and local GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Own global treasury operations, including liquidity planning, working capital optimisation, banking relationships and hedging Oversee worldwide tax compliance, structuring, and planning across multiple jurisdictions Establish and enhance robust financial controls and governance frameworks Drive FP&A activities — budgeting, forecasting and delivering actionable business insights Identify and manage financial risks in partnership with executive leadership Act as primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, investors and financial institutions Lead ERP and consolidation system optimisation, driving digital finance transformation Build and develop a high-performing, multi-regional finance team Partner closely with operational leadership to align finance with long-term growth strategy What They’re Looking For 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in fast-paced, scaling environments Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline Strong technical command of IFRS and local GAAP, ideally within international group structures Deep expertise in consolidation, treasury, tax compliance and internal controls Experience managing relationships with auditors, tax authorities and banks Strong analytical mindset and ability to influence at executive level Comfortable operating within ERP and financial consolidation systems CPA, ACCA or Chartered Accountant qualification preferred Why This Role Stands Out Strategic leadership position with global exposure Backed by significant funding and entering a major scale-up phase Opportunity to professionalise and future-proof the finance function High visibility with executive leadership and investors Barcelona-based within an innovative, performance-driven environment If you are interested, please apply directly here, or reach out to with your CV.
